Selling my 2001 golf tdi bout 8 months ago i took it in for an timing belt replacement. The mechanic screwed it all up. It jumped timing on the freeway, and it blew a valve. Needs a rebuilt engine, or new one. Mechanic started on repairing it, took engine apart and did absolutely nothing but waste my time. I have all the parts in the trunk. Can be a great car if it gets in the right hands. I used to get 40 mpg average. Found an engine for $500. Pick up this gem before it's gone!

Not sure what package it is. The car hasn't been on the road in almost a year. Parked it last august and it's been a projected ever sense. It has a brand new alternator and starter. But it still needs a oil pressure sensor and a new passenger tire and a alignment. The other three are brand new almost. It might need a new battery also. The car is my girlfriends and i was trying to get it in better running condition so i could daily it and she could pack the kids around in my car. But that was six months ago as of right now i just want it gone. This car has a lot of potential. I just don't have the it take to make it look great again. I only have a bill of sale. The title was miss placed.

A while back i had a mechanic change my timing belt, and after 2 months my timing jumped and screwed up my valves, piston etc. Took it back to him to fix, and it stood for 6 months. He didn't do anything. I finally took it back, bought an engine to throw in it. Selling it now with an engine if anyone is interested in doing the swap. Call or text for more details. This car is great, gets 45-50 mpgs, i have too many projects at the moment, so trying to sell it as is. Am able to provide a tow within 50-100 miles. But need cash in hand for that to happen.
